Usually I'm not a participator in challenges like this one because I feel "I never win anything". Well, not only did I win for social media consistency, but I also won personal motivation from this challenge. For the past year, creating a new website and starting a blog has been my number 2 thing to do, putting it in a position to not get done at all. Natalie's 10 Day Blog Challenge somehow turned my brain's switch to "on" and I rocked out a whole new website during the time I was doing the challenge. I'm so impressed with myself and totally grateful for the challenge! So even if you feel like you never win anything, something like this can surprisingly mean much more to you than you expected. This challenge has been inspiring, Natalie. You crafted a fun and helpful challenge. I applied a few of the ideas from the lessons and had over 10,000 views on a post last week. I joined because I wanted to learn from you and also try something similar around the concept of work happiness. Thank you for putting this challenge together! I joined to get a head start on my blogging and to get momentum. Blogging 15 days in a row has helped me with that. Another reason was to connect with awesome and like-minded people. As a result of your challenge, I got a better perspective on where I am today, where I want to be, and how to get there and I’ve interviewed more people for my podcast and know exactly what I have to do to achieve my goals!
I can honestly say it’s been a heart warming and eye opening experience. Over the course of Natalie’s blog challenge, she helped me identify some great strategies that already existed within me, but suddenly I was able to articulate them and put them into action. Now with these strategies I feel that I have the confidence to do what I have known I needed to do all along…reduce my time in my “day job” so that I spend more time focusing on my own business and give it the energy it deserves to succeed. Already enquiries and sales have started to increase. Already I have had three articles published in local print publications that link back to my business and support my credibility as becoming an expert in my field. Already new business opportunities have started to develop; consulting, sub contracting, fresh ideas for my business including workshops and courses. So all I can say is Thank You Natalie.
